Pornhub reverse search: find the video from a screenshot or clip
A Pornhub video finder that starts from a picture instead of words. Drop a screenshot, a GIF or a clip and it is checked against the preview strips of 194K Pornhub videos in our index. A proven hit opens the video's own page on Pornhub.

Pornhub in this index
How much of Pornhub you can search
The Pornhub part of the index reaches across the site's categories and its most viewed, top rated and newest lists. Each of those videos is stored as up to sixteen preview stills (some of the newest uploads only as their poster), and new ones keep arriving.
Sixteen stills per video
What a Pornhub video looks like to the search
For every video, Pornhub makes a strip of sixteen small thumbnails, spaced evenly from the first minute to the last. Those pictures are what the index keeps, not the video (for some of the newest uploads Pornhub shows only a poster, and then that is all there is). In a 16-minute video that works out to roughly one still a minute, so a screenshot from almost any part of it has a stored frame somewhere nearby.
The catch is size. Each thumbnail is only 320 by 180 pixels. Distant faces, tattoos, on-screen text and other fine detail barely survive at that size, so a match leans on the big shapes of the scene: the room, the bodies, the light. A wide shot beats a close-up of a small detail.
Screenshot or clip
Which file to drop for a Pornhub video
A screenshot one moment
One frame has to sit close to one of the sixteen stills. Pause on a calm, wide moment and crop away the player bar, and it often does. If it misses, a second screenshot from a different minute is a completely fresh chance.
A clip many moments
Up to 48 frames are picked from it, so several can land near stored stills. If you saved the whole video, the scan also visits the sixteen evenly spaced points Pornhub cuts its strip at, which puts some of your frames right on top of the indexed ones.
A GIF counts as a short clip here. It is read frame by frame, and one sharp frame from each scene goes into the search.
Words against pictures
Why the Pornhub search box cannot find it for you
It reads words
Pornhub's own search matches titles, tags and names. A screenshot carries none of them, so there is nothing useful to type.
Titles drift
The same scene gets uploaded again under new titles, sometimes in another language. Guessing at words rarely lands on the copy you saw.
Image engines look elsewhere
Google Lens filters explicit results and searches pictures on web pages. TinEye finds exact copies of web images. Neither one holds Pornhub's preview strips or compares frames keypoint by keypoint.
The answer
What a Pornhub Match gives you
Each Match shows the video's title, its length when Pornhub lists one, a confidence from 0 to 100 and the evidence: your frame beside the Pornhub still it lined up with. The link goes to the video's view_video.php?viewkey= page, the same address you would copy from Pornhub itself.
Copies of the same video on other indexed sites can appear in that list as well. Those count as right answers too, and they give you a second way in if one link stops working.
No match
When a Pornhub screenshot finds nothing
Try another minute
Stored stills sit a sixteenth of the video apart. A moment from elsewhere in the video may fall right on one of them.
Go wider
Zoomed-in details rarely survive in a 320 pixel thumbnail. Pick a frame that shows the whole scene instead.

Those videos look close but did not pass the check. Compare them by eye, then search again with a frame from that part.
The video may also simply not be indexed yet. 194,033 Pornhub videos are searchable today, a fraction of what the site holds. The search index is rebuilt twice a day as new ones come in. Looking for more videos of a performer rather than this one video? Try the porn face search.
FAQ
Questions
How do I find a Pornhub video from a screenshot?
Drop the screenshot on this page. It is compared with the preview stills of every Pornhub video in the index, and each close candidate has to line up keypoint by keypoint. A Match gives the title and a link to the video's page on Pornhub.
Does Pornhub have a reverse image search?
Pornhub's own search box works from words: titles, tags, categories and names. Going from a picture to a Pornhub video takes a tool that compares pictures, and this page is one: it compares yours with the up to sixteen stills stored for each indexed Pornhub video.
Why did my Pornhub screenshot not match?
At most sixteen small stills are stored per Pornhub video, so a screenshot taken between two of them, or a close-up of something small, can miss. Try a wide shot from another part of the video, or drop a clip so many moments are searched at once.
Does it search Pornhub live?
No. It searches its own index of Pornhub preview stills, so only videos added before your search can come back. New ones are added all the time, and the search index is rebuilt twice a day.
Is this a Pornhub video downloader?
No. It tells you which video a picture comes from and links to that video's page on Pornhub. It does not offer downloads.
Can I use a GIF made from a Pornhub video?
Yes. A GIF is read frame by frame and one sharp frame of each scene is searched, so it works like a short clip. MP4 and WebM loops are handled the same way.
